STEP 4: CLOSE HARD, CLOSE CLEAN Deliver a closing line like a knockout punch. “Let’s make a decision the future version of you will thank you for.” Silence. Stare. Wait for the nod.

When you’ve been locked down 23 times in the most brutal prison blocks in the country, peace isn’t just a nice idea — it becomes your only weapon.
In a concrete box no bigger than a bathroom — 4x4 metres, steel toilet, no sunlight, no sound — I discovered freedom.
Not the kind they hand you at the gate... But the kind you build inside your own mind.
I created my own version of yoga: The 4x4 Prison Cell Method
4 seconds INHALE
4 seconds EXHALE
For 4 minutes straight
No mat. No music. No incense. Just breath. Rhythm. Focus. Stillness. And a vow: “I won’t let the chaos out there destroy the calm in here.”
The Science Backs It:
A Harvard study (Goyal et al., JAMA Internal Medicine) found that meditation significantly reduces anxiety, depression, and pain — often as effectively as antidepressants.

I used to pace cells filled with regret. Now I sit in peace. Breathe in 4, hold 4, breathe out 4, pause 4. (Box Breathing) Repeat x5 Action: Do this before every meeting, tough convo, or high-pressure moment. Calm mind. Clear decisions.
3. PROCRASTINATION — “Eat the Frog First”
You’re not lazy. You’re overwhelmed. Each day, do the hardest task first thing. Action: Write today’s ONE thing. No escape. No delay. Win early. That momentum? It’ll carry you through walls.
4. OVERTHINKING — “Decide or Stay Dying”
Overthinking is self-doubt dressed in logic. Perfection is the enemy of progress. Action: Set a 2-minute decision timer. Decide fast, act faster. The longer you wait, the heavier the weight.
I built peace not in silence but in discipline. You don’t need more time. You need more courage. You don’t need to “fix” your mindset. You need to use it.
